Kelly Pierce
Director, University Scholarships
Indiana State University

A graduate of Indiana State University in human resource development, Kelly has worked at the University since 2002. Having played various roles in Distance Education and Admissions, she joined the University Scholarship Office in 2012. She focuses on day-to-day operations of the office as well as scholarship awarding, outreach, and communication efforts while working alongside campus partners. Kelly manages the planning for State’s biggest recruitment events for prospective, high-achieving students.
 

Emily Wampler
Systems Coordinator
Indiana State University

Emily joined the University Scholarship Office in 2021. After graduating from Indiana State’s education program, she taught French and Biology for four years before returning to the University to embrace her passion for helping students in new ways. In her position as Systems Coordinator, she supports the Scholarship Office and its campus and community partners. She can most often be found managing all processes related to The Branch and assisting faculty, staff, and students in its use.
 

Marti Hargis
Scholarship Specialist
Indiana State University

Marti has worked at Indiana State University for two decades. She’s worked in the Admission process, Contracts and Budgets in Information Technology and most recently served as the Dean’s Assistant in Technology before joining Scholarships in late spring of 2024. She serves as Scholarship support in various capacities such as the Branch and general outreach and process with campus affiliates, faculty, staff and students.
